  • Vaccine Tracker: India began the second phase of vaccination against the novel coronavirus on 01 March 2021. According to the health ministry, as of 10 May 2021, 13.44 crore persons have been administered at least one dose of the vaccine

1.  Common Misinformation:

  • The news on Covaxin being approved for children above 12 years is fake, says the Centre.
  • Vaccinated people cannot'emit' vaccine particles for unvaccinated to inhale.
  • fake COVID-19 vaccine registration SMS that "maliciously" gains entry into a users' Android phone leading to compromise of the individual contact list is in circulation, the federal cybersecurity agency has alerted. 
  • This SMS claiming free COVID-19 vaccine registration in India is fake
  • This purported message of Jaggi Vasudev explaining the impacts of Coronavirus fears is fake
  • These celebrities did not pledge such huge amounts in donations in the fight against COVID-19. 
  • No scientific evidence to prove lemon drops taken into your nose can kill Coronavirus.  
  • Neither Virat nor Dhoni donated such huge amounts in the fight against COVID-19.  
  • Pinarayi Vijayan’s son-in-law Mohammad Riaz did not state that vaccines made in India are dangerous.  
  • BJP MP Subramanian Swamy did not demand the central government to disclose PM-Cares details to the public.  
  • Old COVID centres in America are shared as those from Telangana.
  • The incident of soldier wrapping his son in a plastic cover and hugging him is from Malaysia.

  • The post on Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma donate ₹2 crores in COVID-19 fight has overperformed by 47.29 times.
